Marlon Wayans is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer known for physical comedy, personal storytelling, and an extensive body of film and television work created both independently and with the Wayans family. He gained early recognition on In Living Color and The Wayans Bros. before co-writing and starring in hit comedies including Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, White Chicks, Little Man, and A Haunted House, while also taking dramatic roles in Requiem for a Dream, Respect, Air, and Him. His stand-up specials include Woke-ish, You Know What It Is, God Loves Me, and Good Grief, an intimate performance filmed at Harlem’s Apollo Theater that explores the deaths of his parents through humor and reflection.
