Carín León is a Mexican singer-songwriter from Hermosillo, Sonora, whose soulful, raspy vocals push música mexicana beyond norteño and banda into country, rock, blues and pop. He launched his solo career in 2018 with Desvelada con Banda y Mariachi, followed by major albums including Colmillo de Leche, Boca Chueca, Vol. 1 and Palabra De To's (Seca). His best-known recordings include “Primera Cita” and “No Es Por Acá,” alongside collaborations such as “Que Vuelvas” with Grupo Frontera and “Según Quién” with Maluma. A two-time Grammy winner for Best Regional Mexican Music Album, León was announced as the first Latino artist to headline Sphere.
