Alex Fernández is a Mexican singer who carries mariachi and ranchera traditions into a contemporary regional Mexican sound. The son of Alejandro Fernández and grandson of Vicente Fernández, he launched his recording career with “Te Amaré” and the 2019 debut album Sigue la Dinastía, which earned Latin Grammy nominations for Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album and Best Regional Mexican Song. His catalog also includes the albums Buscando el Olvido and Estoy a un Trago Más, along with songs such as “El Tiempo No Perdona,” “Pídeme,” “Peca de Bonita” and the Majo Aguilar collaboration “Cuéntame.” Fernández brings a new-generation voice to one of Mexican music’s most recognized family legacies while building a repertoire that blends classic mariachi with banda and pop influences.
